THE BRIEF
Forty years of credentials that almost nobody outside the field had heard of. He co-authored the national BBL safety standards. He's patient-safety editor for the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and sits on the board of the American Academy. He trained under Pitanguy in Brazil and Lantieri in Paris, and worked in a Nobel laureate's lab. Google him and almost none of it came back.
Five years in, the practice was finally past the build-out. A private-equity conversation was starting. And the thing that actually bothered him wasn't the money — it was simpler than that. In his words: he wanted anyone considering surgery in Nashville to at least know about them, so that if they chose someone else it was because they liked that surgeon better, not because they'd never heard of him. It felt, he said, like wasting a lot of potential.
He came to us wanting the record to exist before the deal did.
WHAT WE MADE
A twelve-month authority partnership, built so the equity belongs to him rather than to whoever buys the practice.
A cinematic brand film telling his story — the training, the safety work, and the illness he came through while running a surgical practice. Photography and a quarterly production rhythm: two days on site per quarter, three cameras, the operating room, the converted-church surgery center from the air — one visit yielding a quarter of content.
Underneath it, the system: reels and ad creative on a weekly cadence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn; patient testimonials filmed properly; a CRM and lead capture so nothing arriving from the work falls through; and a speaking reel and platform positioning aimed at the stages he wants after he retires from operating.
We took him on as the only cosmetic surgeon in the market. That was the condition of doing it properly.

THE SYSTEM UNDERNEATH
More than an asset library.
It doesn't stop at the footage.
The film is the part you can see. Underneath it is the machinery that keeps a surgeon publishing for a year without it costing him a day in the OR.
Two days a quarter. That's his whole commitment. Three cameras, the operating room, the surgery center from the air. One visit produces a quarter of content — the long-form pieces, the short-form cuts, the before-and-afters, the outtakes.
A cadence, not a calendar. Fixed weekly volume across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn, with the content pillars slotted flexibly — so the schedule survives a surgery day running long, and before-and-afters stay built into the rhythm rather than bolted on.
An approval loop that doesn't chase him. His team reviews in one place and approves in one place. Nothing waits on a text message.
Positioning aimed past the practice. He co-authored the national BBL safety standards and trained under the surgeons who invented the procedures he performs. The work is built so that record belongs to him — through a private-equity conversation, and after it.
One surgeon per market. We don't take another cosmetic or plastic surgeon in Nashville. That was the condition.
